Well, I just had my first 'Low blood sugar' thing

        Not very pleasant, that’s for sure! I forgot to grab something for lunch so didn’t have anything to eat. Got a bit weird feeling about an hour ago, took my blood sugar (127) and realized that something wasn’t cool.
        I grabbed a couple of candies and some pretzels and am feeling much better!

        So, I think I’m a bit of a hypochondriac (long story) and thought that, maybe, I didn’t really have diabetes. Yeah, I got it, no question.

        Well, feeling much better now and I got to thinking: maybe I should start another blog (this time with updates!) about cheap living with diabetes. I was thinking about calling it ‘A Diabetic walks into a Gas Station’. What do you think?

At doctors office, waiting for diabetes specialist, listening to crying child. Wondering what happens next...

Bleh!

        Well, I made it in to work, after waiting for a call back from a Nutritionist (I set up an appointment for next Wednesday).

        So, about 4 months ago, I noticed that I started drinking a lot of water (up to a couple gallons a day). It got on my nerves, but not too much so (although, since I wasn’t retaining any of it, I was hitting the toilet every few minutes). Well, that passed, which was cool, but the a couple months ago I got a new symptom: sleeping.
        Specifically, I’d fall asleep after eating carbohydrates (I’d eat a potato and take a 2 hour nap). Really got on my nerves (screwed up my sleep patterns and my reading time).

        Well, long story short, turns out that I’ve given myself Diabetes. Yay me.
        
        So, I’m pretty grumpy now and I’m going to look up some info on nutrition (until I can get in to see the Nutritionist next Wednesday).

Firefox/Mozilla/Minefield crashes 10.6 Snow Leopard

        Not my usual post, but I’m hoping Google picks it up.

        I’m running the 10A380 of Snow Leopard and Firefox kept crashing (all of them, from Firefox beta’s to Intel-specific builds). I finally came up with the solution by uninstalling Google Desktop (from the Pref Pane) and then removing any folders in my Firefox Profile folder.

        Did the trick and I’m back up and running.

Viewer Discression

        So, there’s a Dolph Lundgren movie on the local UHF tonight and they say “Viewer Discression is Advised”. Really? For an old direct-to-video Dolph Lundgren movie?

The thought of Original Intent and Time Travel

        So, if you send someone back in time to talk to you in the past and they don’t tell you why they were sent back, then when you send them back again in the future, do you know the reason why?

        I’m not sure what this means, but I’m wondering if it ties in to the Multiple Universe theory? I refer to ‘Universe’ as I think it creates a lot of confusion between that and real Dimension Theory (string, N, wave, etc.).
